The Support Services division encompasses Records and 911 Emergency Communications. The Support Services Manager organizes and leads the division while maintaining accuracy of the department records for all calls for service and personnel.     Audry began her career in May of 2003 with the Lockhart Police Department as a TCO (Telecommunications Operator). A few months later Audry joined the San Marcos Police Department as a part-time TCO. In 2004 she committed to a full time position on the San Marcos Communications Team.  During the first fifteen years of her career she has been a Communications Training Officer, Background Investigator and a 911 Shift Supervisor. Outside of daily duties and position responsibilities; Audry has also provided portions of the Patrol Mini-Academy and Citizens Police Academy. In addition to assisting with the Communications Public Education Team, she also established a Communications Recruiting Team and assists with the San Marcos Police Officers Association fundraising events. Externally she has served on multiple conference boards for Texas NENA/APCO Conferences and is currently the chair for the Public Safety Communications Advisory Program through Texas NENA. As of September 2018 Audry has taken the role of the Support Services Manager for the San Marcos Police Department. With the new position and responsibilities Audry plans to assist both the communications and records team in maintaining high customer service standards as well as reaching their individual goals. Public safety and positive growth for the department as well as the community are a priority for Audry that she plans to focus on for many years to come!
