Help keep valuable resources out of the landfill by donating your unwanted goods this summer. The City of San Marcos is launching Bobcats Give Back, a sustainable move-out program focused on alleviating trash issues during the summer move-out turn. During July, students can donate clothing, non-perishable food, small appliances, pet supplies, hygiene goods, and furniture at participating sites. All donations will benefit local organizations.
The team will also operate a Residential Drop-off site Friday-Saturday on Craddock Avenue between Sonora and Sagewood Trail July 12-13, July 19-20, and July 26-27 from 10 a.m. to 6 PM each day. Look for the Resource Recovery pop-up tent.
Donations will be collected July 8 to August 2 at participating apartment complexes: Cabana Beach, Copper Beech, Elevation on Post, Grove San Marcos, Hillside Ranch, Iconic Village, River Oaks Villas, Savannah Club, Treehouse, University Club, Uptown Square, Vie Lofts, and Westfield.
