Adult Softball
Slow pitch softball leagues are offered during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Registration is online as a team; free agents/individuals can email us for more information on how to find a team to play on. Divisions offered include Men’s C, D, and E, Coed Division 1 (competitive), 2 (advanced), and 3 (beginner/recreational), and Church. Slow pitch softball is open to participants 16 and older. Games are played Monday through Thursday at the Gary Sports Complex, for a 4-week doubleheader season and double elimination tournament (10 games total). Winning teams receive a set of Championship T-Shirts and a team trophy. To register, visit the ACTIVE net website.
Adult Coed Volleyball
Adult volleyball leagues are offered during the spring, summer and winter seasons. Registration is online as a team; free agents/individuals can email us for more information on how to find a team to play on. This is a Coed league and is open to participants 16 and older. Games are played Monday nights at the San Marcos Activity Center, for a 6 game regular season and single-elimination tournament (7 games total). Adult Coed Flag Football
Adult Flag Football leagues are offered during the spring and fall seasons. Games are played Wednesday nights at the Gary Sports Complex, for a 6-game regular season and single-elimination tournament (7 games total). Adult Coed Kickball

Adult Pickleball
Adult Pickleball Open Play is now offered Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 11:30am, at the San Marcos Activity Center for ages 18 and up. We have six courts for available, with three courts designated as competitive courts and three courts designated as recreation courts. Pickleball is a cross between badminton, tennis and ping-pong. It is played on a badminton-sized court 20 ft. x 44 ft. with paddles, a wiffle ball and a net that is lowered to 34 inches. Players volley the ball back and forth to try to score on the opposition. Pickleball is free for Activity Center members. Non-members are charged the daily use rate. We also offer Adult Pickleball Tournaments. Please see the quick guide above for more information.
Adult Tennis Clinics
Instructor Kyle Huls offers youth and adult tennis lessons at the Rio Vista Park Tennis Courts for participants ages 18 and older. Beginner to advanced classes are held throughout the year in four-week sessions. To register, visit the ACTIVE net website.
Adult Karate
Hill Country Karate has partnered with the Parks and Recreation Department for over 25 years. The class are instructed by Mr. Richard Rodriguez, who received his Blackbelt in 2012. Mr. Rodriguez enjoys teaching all ages and knows that adults who enroll in karate classes will experience positive benefits such as improved coordination, strength, flexibility, and self-defense skills. Adult classes are held Tuesday nights at 7:30pm at the San Marcos Activity Center. To register for classes, visit the ACTIVE net website.
