Tales on the Trails

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department, San Marcos Public Library, and Community Action, Inc. are partnering to bring you Tales on the Trails. Each month will feature a different story that you can follow along with as you explore our beautiful parks and natural areas. Our January 2021 Tales on the Trails will be set up along Tex's Trail at Ringtail Ridge and will feature "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. You and your family are invited to enjoy a self-guided tour along the 1/2 mile trail, located at 1818 Old Ranch Road 12 (behind the Dakota Ranch apartments). Don't forget to take a photo during your visit and submit to cmarler@sanmarcostx.gov by February 1st to be entered into a drawing for a prize!
