Bike Maintenance 101

Learn the basic skills to keep you on your bike, as well as saving yourself from the headaches, time, and money of having to take your bike to a professional. Learn to diagnose and repair a flat tire, fine tune your brakes, and clean and lubricate your bike chain and drivetrain. Presented by the El Camino Real Mobile Bicycle Project.

 Double Reed Chamber Concert

September 24, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The students of the Oboe and Bassoon Studios at Texas State University collaborate to produce double reed chamber music. These chamber music pieces are selected and rehearsed by the students.

 

Computer Class

September 25, 10:00 a.m.

Free introductory computer classes in email, Internet searching, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel for adults. Learn how to get started with your iPad or tablet.

 

Philosophy Dialogues

Adults participate in a round table discussion with students and faculty of the Texas State University Philosophy Department. Tracing Darwin’s Path in Cape Horn presented by Ricardo Rozzi.

 

Jennifer’s Book Chat

September 25, 6:30 p.m.

The goal of Jennifer's Book Chat is to discover books and authors we didn't know we'd love. At each meeting, staff member Jennifer will announce a surprise topic and together we'll select books to discuss at the upcoming meeting. Avid readers, this program is for you.
