Autumn Party in Your Park Scheduled for Nov. 17

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will host the fourth installment of the 2017 Party in Your Park series on Nov. 17 from 6-9 p.m. Originally scheduled for Veterans Park, this event has been relocated to Mill Street Park, 215 Mill Street.

Party in Your Park is a series of events that will bring positive attention to the city’s neighborhood parks four times a year. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Attendees can enjoy a fun, safe evening while socializing with their neighbors.

Activities will include Gaga Ball, Mega Jenga, Giant Connect 4, and other oversized yard games. Healthy snacks and refreshments will be provided at no cost. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs to sit on if needed.

The Parks and Recreation Department would like to thank Grande Communications for their generous support as the “Life of the Party” sponsor of Party in Your Park this year. Party in Your Park will return in 2018 on Feb. 23 at Franklin Square Park.
