Landis Shoe Clinic has been named the “May Downtown Business of the Month” by the San Marcos Main Street Program for serving the Downtown San Marcos community for over 100 years.

Located at 120 S LBJ Dr., this shoe repair shop has been an integral part of Downtown San Marcos since 1917. Over the past 100 years, the Mendez family has served residents of Hays, Comal, and Caldwell County. Landis Shoe Clinic provides the community with a reliable place to repair their shoes and leather boots. The business also offers services such as wallet and purse repair and retail including leather accessories such as wallets, belts, and cowboy boots.

Beyond repairing shoes and selling accessories, getting to know their customers and developing lasting relationships with them is what makes Landis Shoe Clinic unique and contributes to their longevity as a Downtown business.
