San Marcos residents who do not wish to receive phone book deliveries may opt out online at www.yellowpagesoptout.com. This national consumer choice and opt-out site shows all the phone directories delivered in your area based on zip code and allows residents to select which ones, if any, they would like to receive.
Starting July 23 through mid-August, the Yellowbook phone book will be delivered in the San Marcos area. Here are a few helpful tips:
- The books are recyclable. Place them in the tan lid cart.
- If they are in a plastic bag, recycle it at bag recycling bins found at major retail stores.
- Don’t leave them on the curb or street. Help keep San Marcos beautiful!
- People wishing to opt out of phone book delivery online will be able to choose which of the several books they want to receive or decline. Be sure to select all that apply.
