The City of San Marcos’ water supply is not being affected by the boil water order from the City of Austin. Our water supply comes from Canyon Lake via the Guadalupe River to Lake Dunlap and from the Edwards Aquifer, neither of which were affected by the flooding that occurred along the Colorado River and Highland Lakes, where the City of Austin gets its water supply.
No boil water advisory is in effect for the City of San Marcos.
