San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter ‘Pets of the Week’

Cat of the Week:  Oliver

Oliver is a social butterfly! He is extremely curious, loves playing with toys, and is very happy being held. Oliver is a beautiful one year old black domestic short hair with piercing eyes. He would be a great fit for any home willing to give him the attention and pampering he deserves.

Dog of the Week: Neptune

If you’re struggling to keep those New Year’s resolutions, Neptune will happily help you out! Neptune is a 10 month-old Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix who has a ton of energy. Our volunteers say this boy is incredibly smart, is making great progress in learning how to sit, and loves to learn new tricks. Neptune would do great with an active family who loves to be outside and go on long hikes.

All adoptions include the pet’s spay or neuter, kennel vaccinations, rabies vaccination, microchip and city license. For more information or to adopt one of our Pets of the Week, visit or contact Animal Services at (512) 805-2650.
