  1. Intro to Basic Watercolor Techniques

    This course for adults will be an introduction to basic water color techniques presented by Michael Hannon. It will consists of four online sessions that will start with washes, the most characteristic technique for watercolor, including wet on dry and wet on wet techniques, then how dry brush techniques can be used with these, both before and after, especially to define details. We will cover some basic blotting and scratching and other special techniques, and then we will end by putting all of these together. Registration required. Information for joining the program via Zoom will be emailed to registrants.

    Free one-on-one series of Zoom math sessions with a Texas State education student for children ages 4-11. This program will occur during both Texas State summer sessions. The first group will begin on Friday, June 5, but children will be added as long as openings are available. The second group will begin on Friday, July 10. Children can participate in both sessions.
