Our Mission

The Human Resources Department helps ensure a fair and equitable workplace for the 500 employees of the City of San Marcos and protects the assets of the City through its risk management program. Training, safety programs, Civil Service, job applications, pay administration, benefits management, and performance evaluations are coordinated by the Human Resources staff.

These events are available to City of San Marcos employees and attendance
