City Seeks Nominations
For Women's Hall of Fame
The City of San Marcos is seeking nominations of outstanding local women to induct into the San Marcos Women’s Hall of Fame at its 25th annual ceremony.
The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, September 11, 2009 at 5 p.m. Entry forms are available at the Parks and Recreation office, Grant Harris Jr. Building, 401 E. Hopkins St. San Marcos, or on line at sanmarcostx.gov (click on Women’s Hall of Fame on the home page).

On Monday, October 26, the Parks & Recreation Department will host the 25th Annual Women's Hall of Fame Reception at 6 p.m. at the Activity Center. The reception will honor women who have made meaningful contributions to the San Marcos community through personal achievement and community service.
Information about the nominees can be gathered through friends, business associates, co-workers, church and the nominee’s family.
