DIVISION RESPONSIBILITY

The Purchasing and Contracting Division serves as the City’s agent and is responsible for managing the procurement and contracting for all goods, capital equipment, technology, and all services to include but not limited to professional and construction services, and the disposal of goods and surplus property, for City of San Marcos operations. Our mission is to serve the City of San Marcos, Texas by delivering the best value of goods and services in the most economical, efficient, expedient, transparent, and ethical manner and to administer contracts consistent with governing laws, City Charter, and Purchasing Code.
