Firefighters enjoy reading to children and teaching them about fire safety. Teaching fire safety saves lives. Parents brought their children to a recent event at the San Marcos city library to see a firefigher in fire protection gear teaching them how to Stop, Drop, and Roll, be familiar when they see a firefighter in full gear, and of course, get to see, touch, and climb into a fire truck!
