Free Dance Classes for Children
Mondays in June and July

Creative Dance fusing elements of various dance forms such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Modern Dance. These classes will focus on the relationship of body to space and cultivate esteem toward expressing with the body. Some fun elements that will enhance the dancing curriculum are drawing, vocalizing, improvising, and using music as inspiration for “creating a dance,” also known as choreography. Multiple dance classes for ages 5-17. Limited space available. Registration required. Students should register for the grade they are entering in the fall.

Estate Planning Essentials: Wills and Trusts

It’s always important to have a plan. An estate plan is a map of how you want your financial and personal matters handled when you are no longer able to do so. Planning ahead gives you the ability to help ensure your loved ones are provided for and to control your legacy. Topics covered include last will and testament, trusts, powers of attorney, medical directive, insurance, guardianship, and taxes. Presented by Christopher R. The kids of San Marcos love the San Marcos Fire Department fire fighters and the big red truck! The next firefighter visit to the San Marcos Public Library will be Wednesday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. Following the firefighter visit, children can create an engaging firetruck craft. The craft is for all ages, but children under 5 should bring an adult to help. Crafts take 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
