Did you know Central Texas is in the heart of a flyway for many migrating species of birds and insects including the monarch butterfly? That means we are lucky enough to witness a diversity of migrating species when the time is right. Local partners will be on site to show visitors the importance of monarch butterflies and other pollinators that can be found in the region. Native plants, including: perennials, grasses, shrubs, trees, and organic vegetables and herbs will also be on sale and and be inspired to build your own butterfly garden and lend a helping hand to pollinators while enjoying native flowers. Prices are by pot size: 4" - $3, 1 gal - $8, and 5 gal - $26. Come see what San Marcos is doing as a city to help pollinators, purchase some native plants, and learn how to get involved and make a difference!
